This 1-bedroom studio apartment is in a building that is on boulevard Stalingrad, but the apartment is on the harbour side, so there is no traffic noise from the boulevard. The apartment is on the 6th floor and is served by a lift. This is a lovely light space with air conditioning, fully equipped kitchen and high-speed internet - everything you need for a comfortable base on the Cote d'Azur.
 
 
     
The 1.5m-wide (5ft) double bed is on a mezzanine level which is above the dining area. The kitchen has oven, microwave, 4-ring cooker, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, filter coffee machine, and all the pots and pans, plates and cutlery you might need.
 
 
     
There is a 3-seater sofa and 2 armchairs, a writing table and chair, and outside there is a balcony which is 3m (10ft) long and 90cm (3ft) wide. The TV has the French terrestrial channels plus CNN. There is free high-speed internet.
 
 
     

In the bathroom is a shower, basin and WC, and the clothes washing machine.

The studio is also equipped with vacuum cleaner and iron.
 
 
The Location
 
The studio is in a delightful part of Nice, next to the harbour with its mixture of old wooden fishing boats and luxury yachts. There are many restaurants close by and the Marché des Fleurs round the corner. It is completely different to the noisy Promenade des Anglais with its 6 lanes of traffic. The beaches are a 10-minute walk. The airport is 15 minutes drive.

Notes to the rental rates

Included in the rates: utilities, bedlinen, towels, air conditioning, heating, ADSL internet, after-stay clean.

Rental periods are for a minimum of 7 nights. Arrival and departure days are flexible. To secure a booking you would send a 25% deposit.

There is a refundable security deposit of 300 euros against any breakages (other than the odd glass) or damage.

Cancellation policy: if we can find another booking for your dates we will return any money sent (minus bank charges).

The apartment is for a maximum of 2 people. We regret that pets and smoking are not allowed in the apartment.
